I’m staying at a big hotel in downtown Des Moines. The room temperature is regulated by a thermostat on the wall (see photo). I used a stir stick from the coffee-maker to jamb into the thermostat so that I can turn the fan off - it’s noisy.
That solves the noise problem, but what about the temperature? Now I’m cold. I guess I can’t have it both ways - warm and quiet.
I’m not going to stay at the downtown Marriott in Des Moines again.
